Wendy's adopting healthier cooking oil since Wendy's will be 1st fast foodie with healthier oil

The third-largest quickservice restaurant chain has taken the lead in offering the healthiest french fry -- Wendy's International will begin frying french fries and breaded chicken in non-hydrogenated corn and soy oil by August.

The new oil will reduce trans fat to zero grams for chicken sandwiches, nuggets and strips, while a large order of fries will have 0.5 grams of trans fats and a child-size portion will have zero grams.
