Google may rethink China plan as Google Wrestles With Conscience

Google co-founder Sergey Brin told reporters on Tuesday that the search engine's move into China involved compliance with "a set of rules that we weren't comfortable with."

Brin also said that Google is seeking to upgrade Google.cn, its censored search service, before deciding whether to reverse course, but said nearly all users of Google in China use the non-censored service.
